On the morning of 13 October 2026, SONG ANH was delighted to welcome first-year Construction Management students from the K26 cohort of the English-taught programme, representing the Faculty of Advanced Training and the Faculty of Civil Engineering at UTE, for a visit to its office. The visit gave students an opportunity to explore a professional working environment, gain insights into the construction industry, and experience SONG ANH’s open and collaborative culture.
For first-year students, every opportunity to experience the workplace can help bring their field of study and future career into clearer focus. The visit to SONG ANH offered a welcoming setting in which to observe a professional environment and learn how a design consultancy organises its work and coordinates project delivery.
Building on the knowledge they are beginning to acquire in the classroom, students gained a fresh perspective on the connection between technical expertise, responsibility, and teamwork. The visit also helped Construction Management students better understand the role of design consultancy within the wider context of a construction project.
The visit gives students a closer look at the professional working environment at SONG ANH.
During the visit, SONG ANH introduced students to the design development process, coordination between disciplines, and construction cost management.
As a lead consultant overseeing multiple design disciplines, SONG ANH recognises the importance of bringing specialist expertise together throughout the development of project documentation. Architecture, structural engineering, and building services need to be coordinated to support integrated design solutions. Costs must also be considered in relation to each project’s requirements and objectives.
These insights helped students develop a clearer picture of Construction Management in practice, where technical knowledge goes hand in hand with communication, organisation, and coordination among stakeholders. By sharing experience from its own work, SONG ANH hopes to offer useful perspectives that support students’ learning and career exploration.

Alongside the professional insights, the team’s warm welcome and willingness to share helped create a friendly atmosphere throughout the visit. Through conversations at the office, students had an opportunity to experience Song Anh company culture in the way people communicated and connected.
