KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Quantity Take-off & BOQ Preparation
Review and interpret design drawings (Architectural, Structural, MEP, Infrastructure, etc.).
Perform quantity take-offs and calculate quantities for all construction work items.
Prepare the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) in accordance with project requirements.
Cost Estimation & Budgeting
Prepare the Total Investment Cost Estimate and Project Cost Estimate.
Apply unit rates based on government cost norms or company cost databases.
Update and revise cost estimates following design changes.
Compare design alternatives and recommend cost-effective solutions.
Cost Verification & Cost Control
Verify the accuracy of quantities and unit rates in cost estimate documents.
Analyze and evaluate cost variances between design options or project phases.
Recommend corrective actions to mitigate potential budget overruns.
Project Coordination & Support
Coordinate with design and construction teams throughout the cost estimating process.
Assist in the preparation of tender documents when assigned.
Monitor and control project quantities and costs during project execution

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 1 years of experience in a Quantity Surveyor (QS) position; candidates with experience in high-rise building projects or government-funded projects are preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Economics, Civil & Industrial Construction Engineering, or related disciplines.
Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is an advantage.
Familiarity with cost estimation software, particularly Bac Nam Estimation Software.
Detail-oriented, honest, and highly responsible.
Strong ability to work independently and effectively within a team.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to manage quantities and cost data accurately.
